Careers behind the camera

Wednesday 20th October 2021 L/O: to explore possible film industry roles and career paths. 1 - C 2 - D       3 - B 4 - A Action, tense and suspense. The moment that has the most tension is when the man wearing a mask is stood on top of the ice with a gun watching someone drown underneath the ice, this is tense because we don't know if the person is going to get out of the ice.  Prediction I think there are going to be 19 cuts in the first 30 seconds of the trailer.  There were 25 cuts in the first 30 seconds if the trailer.  I agree with the statement because every time the cuts get shorter and faster it builds more tension and makes you want to watch it.

Character

Monday 11th October 2021  L/O: to explore the use of characterisation in a film.  1. Tom Cruise 2. Leonardo DiCaprio  3. Daniel Radcliffe    Case study characters - Protagonist (hero)  - Antagonist (villain)   Prop theory The Hero generally leads the narrative. The Villain struggles against the hero.  The Donor gives the hero something special.  The Helper supports the hero  The Princess can take two forms.  The Dispatcher sends the hero on a mission.  The Father gives a task to the hero.  The False Hero appears to act heroically and often mistaken for the real hero.

Media language analysis

Wednesday 6th October 2021 L/O: to analyse a media text using media language. They have chosen a medium long shot to show that Bond is holding a gun, has a holster on his leg and not wearing his usual type of clothes / suits. A medium long shot in this case is better than a long shot because you can see his facial expressions and close up details. It shows that James is wearing black gloves, this could mean that he might be trying to cover his fingerprints up. Bond is wearing a watch will explains a bit why the title of the film is called 'No time to die'. It could mean that when the watch gets to a certain time he could be in trouble or even showing us that he is wealthy. The back round on the poster is gold which might mean wealthy.  Diegetic sounds Gunshots and punches- show danger, threat and excitement.  Car crash-  make it sound more exciting / entertaining.  Helicopter- make is different to just cars and normal vehicles.  The transitions in the trailer are faded to blac
