Media language analysis

L/O: to analyse a media text using media language.

They have chosen a medium long shot to show that Bond is holding a gun, has a holster on his leg and not wearing his usual type of clothes / suits. A medium long shot in this case is better than a long shot because you can see his facial expressions and close up details. It shows that James is wearing black gloves, this could mean that he might be trying to cover his fingerprints up. Bond is wearing a watch will explains a bit why the title of the film is called 'No time to die'. It could mean that when the watch gets to a certain time he could be in trouble or even showing us that he is wealthy. The back round on the poster is gold which might mean wealthy.

Diegetic sounds
Gunshots and punches- show danger, threat and excitement.
Car crash-  make it sound more exciting / entertaining.
Helicopter- make is different to just cars and normal vehicles.

The transitions in the trailer are faded to black. The pace of the cuts get faster and faster towards the end as well as the music, this is to make it more intense and make people want to watch it.

The camera shot for this film is a medium long shot, this might be because they are showing off what they're wearing and what weapons they have.

The facial expressions on the two characters show that they are very powerful, concentrated and look like they're ready to fight.

The setting / background shows that they are stood in the sea which explains the name 'Aqua-man' more. They might be living in an underwater world.

The clothing on them look very expensive and look like they are well protected by them, this might mean that they are fighting people.

Soundtrack for the trailer of Dune

- Swords clashing
- Shouting
- Planes
- Music
- Fighting

In the Dune trailer, soundtrack is used effectively to show the suspension and intensity. For example, in the scene where the boy is fighting with the man the director uses the sound of swords clashing and shouting to show intensity, the director also makes the music louder throughout the cuts. This creates / show / gives the impression of suspense and makes the audience want to watch it and see what happens.
